Anne Gorman, Party Chair
Jeff Niemeyer, Treasurer
Anne Gorman is currently the Chair of the Madison County Democrats. She is a retired choral director, having taught for eighteen years in the Jonathan Alder School District, and a proud resident of Plain City for twenty-one years. She ran for public office in 2018, and although unsuccessful, has seen that oftentimes the citizens of Madison County are unrepresented, due to gerrymandered districts, and a lack of accurate and viable information and education about the works of the government. In chairing the party, she sees an opportunity to help make seismic shifts in the governing of Madison County.
Jeff is a graduate of The Ohio State University (B.S. in Agriculture Economics) and Ohio University (M.B.A.). He is an accountant and owner of National Tax Service and an adjunct professor for Franklin University. Jeff is a proud, lifelong Democrat. He is married to Barb and they have two children and four grand dogs.
Cris Martinez, Vice Chair
Cris is the vice-chair for the Madison County Democrats. Cris and his wife, Betty moved to Ohio from Texas in 2021. Cris most recently served in Texas as the Chairman of the Appraisal review board for his county. He is a lifelong Democrat who served his previous party for 8 years. Cris and his wife of 40 years, Betty, have 5 children together. He will be looking for opportunities to give our party more presence in our communities, and expand our message of inclusion to all of our voting public.
Amity Wahl, Webmaster
Webmaster for the Madison County Democratic Party. Communications & Technology Coordinator for the American Association of Equine Practitioners. Life-long Democrat. Mom of two.

Peggy Garrison, Parade Chair
Peggy is a retired United Methodist Minister with over 40 years experience in the parish, as a teaching seminary, in directing programs and as a pastoral counselor. Peggy has degrees from Miami University, United Theological Seminary, Wright State University and from the joint degree program between Northwestern University and Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary. She was born in Madison County and now lives on the family farm. Peggy is an advocate for Madison County Democrats having their voices heard through voting, by supporting candidates, and via a social media presence. She believes that for democracies to work, citizens must engage with their government.
Cheryl Brockman, Chair, Citizenship Award Program
Cheryl has lived in Madison County since 2005. She retired from Jonathan Alder School district in 2017 after working there 30 years. Cheryl enjoys working on the Citizenship Committee because she wants to see more young people get involved in their communities. The future of our country is counting on young people being informed voters and educated citizens.
