● Citizenship - Attend rallies, contact elected officials, teach drum major and basson skills to others
● Plans after high school - Attend Ohio State University with focus on music education
London - Josephine Davis
● School Activities - Band, tennis, Senior Class President
● Citizenship - Created a Diversity Club at London High School with meetings
highlighting various cultures
● Plans after high school - attend Georgetown University to study Nursing
Madison Plains - Katelynn LeGault
● School Activities - cheerleading, Social Media Manager for Madison-Plains Athletic Department
● Citizenship - Started small business,, GladeRunDesigns, donates 10% of every sale to a nonprofit
West Jefferson - Tyler Buescher
● School Activities - Football, Basketball, Class Officer, Student Council
● Citizenship - Lots of volunteer work including - Toys for Tots, Ox Roast, reading with younger students
● Plans after high school - Attend Mount Saint Joseph University with focus on special education

Applicants must:

Be a senior at one of the following high schools: Jonathan Alder, London, Madison Plains or West Jefferson

Reside in Madison County

Be a registered voter if you are 18
Award Details:
-
Nonpartisan - you do not need to be a registered Democrat

One winner will be selected from each school district
-
Winners will be awarded a $300 check
-
Can be used at a college, cosmetology school, trade school, etc.

Can be used for tuition, books, tools or other materials
Requirements:
Citizenship can be demonstrated in many ways, such as volunteering in your community,
helping with an election, advocating for an important issue. How have you demonstrated good
citizenship? Tell us in one of the following ways
